Our Miniature Babies

Our miniature mules are all imprinted at birth, taught to love people and apples (not always exactly in that order but close enough) they are socialised and most importantly are members of our family. Because they are so adorable they are often being cuddled, patted by visitors and loved in general. We often have bath days and clip the mules to keep them looking neat although the heat does not seem to worry them at all.

As they mature we begin halter training and trick training to keep them stimulated and to play in general. This includes leading, loading, tying, tethering, hand grazing and travelling. Mules are incredibly smart and very trainable so this is a really interesting and fun task. All of the babies have distinct personalities and love to be involved in whatever is happening, whether we are feeding animals, working horses, working in the shed or orchard, the vet is scanning mares… there is always a peanut gallery of inquisitive little faces.
