Red Rocks Zelia

Black Silver Filly (HZ Black)

Katie - Under Offer

Price: $5000

Katie is a 14.2hh, 11yr ASH (Unreg) mare. She has done miles of station and mustering camp work and is not for a beginner. She is forward and soft and would benefit from an experienced rider. She is not marey or a boss mare. Easy to float and truck, trim, worm etc. She's good in the heat and NT conditions. A real worker she's not a smoochy pet type. I had hoped to keep her to campdraft but life is making that impossible. Regretful sale only to experienced working home.

Red Rocks Flash

Price: $5000

Gelding is 17yrs, 14hh. Steady natured fella who's been a farm pony all his life. Been ridden by beginners but prefer he goes to a knowledgeable home. Been brought back into work without fuss even after years off.

He has lived on stations all his life and is savvy to choppers, bikes, tractors, cattle, buffalo, ponies, goats, etc. Seen tarps, balls, flags and not much fazes him.

Not formally educated and never been shown or to PC. Been mostly a trail and lead around horse. He would suit a beginner under supervision or a intermediate rider his only vice is he will get bored plodding around and take himself home at a walk if his rider doesn't boss him into going. There's no real argument just will take kids back to the gate if the opportunity is there.

He's a kind no fuss boy, no bite, kick or anything like that. Easy to worm, trim, handle and float and so on. Easy keeper hard bare feet. NT bred.

He has been stabled and is fine alone or with company. Paddocked with cattle, buffalo, horses, minis etc. Hes seen all the usual farm stuff (choppers, quads, tractors etc) He is sensitive and curious, no vices or nasty. Ready to back, (trainer fell through so he was turned out) Been mouthed, driven in reins, tacked up, flexion, groundwork all established. Needs a job asap. He is registered Sportaloosa. Working through obstacles, tarps, balls with ease. He is a true blank canvas and will likely keep growing. Loads on the truck and float but is still learning to self load, at this stage he still needs to be led on.
